I don't call it stealing. I'm the family genealogist and I often download pictures of friends and relatives from their online public posts to add to their entry in the genealogy program, which I periodically share with them.
Yeah. I’ve gone through my husbands family’s facebooks and screenshotted old pictures of him as a kid lol.
then I send it to him and he’s like “where did you find that? 😐” it’s a secret, hehe 🤭
Not personally but I also know that any photos that are shared that is likely happening to. The only way to prevent that is to not share anything.
no, we are not unto pics much, haven't even got a camera and I forget about my phone

no... I never cared for pictures
I always had my loves right beside me, in person... and not on my screens
So you live in an extended family.
my immediate family is of five people...
but I live on my own, not with them
I haven't personally done that. However, people air dirty laundry all the time on social media. So, I could see why they may feel the need to screenshot an incriminating status like "I cheated last night" before its taken down.
If you swipe a photo from their device then it would be stealing. As long as it's in public domain, then it's. It stealing

You ask them for full res pics.
