Long distance relationships?

I am dating a girl from a different city and she has strict parents so I am the only one who can visit her. I mean whenever we are in our university cities, away from her parents. She loves me a lot and cares about me. Understanding and I feel beloved whenever I talk to her. So Is it a mistake that have a long distance relationship or should I keep her with me lifetime?
