Are your in-laws pushy or intrusive?

I've been with my partner for 10 years now. I know how his family is. He knows how mine is. With his, his sister is one of those take-charge type of women, she's single and doesn't really have a life of her own. She kinda lives through her brother, my boyfriend, and their younger brother. For example, we have two children, and I'm expecting a third. I don't want a baby shower and I've expressed this to her over and over, but she continues to try and impose one onto me because it's what SHE wants. Whenever my boyfriend goes to his mom's house on his lunch break from work, he'll call me, and he always puts me on speaker phone so whatever we're talking about is a free-for-all to chime in and it bothers me. They're also inserting their opinions, suggestions etc about any and everything as if they know everything and I love them, but it annoys me.
