Yes, this is possible. In fact I did that only recently, about three months ago. It was not the best idea as my girlfriend and I got back together again about a month after our breakup. I told the other woman that we are back together and she did not take it very well and accused me that I had used her to get over my breakup. There's some truth in it I suppose, but I had honestly been prepared to explore things further with her. As it stands we only went to a restaurant once now, and exchanged only some fleeting touches there, no kissing.
