Because women are used to working in administration, healthcare or social work. With very few exceptions women arn't used to working in physically demanding jobs. Imagine a society that has to rely on female farmers, miners, productionworkers or working on infrastructure. Then Imagine men working on jobs where empathy is a required trait such as social work or healthcare. Can you honestly imagine that would work? And imagine also women working overtime more and how they would react to being told they have to share their spoils with the opposite sex because of equality.
