They don't distrust or despise men, they just aren't sexually attracted to them. Some may not see men favorably, but most don't have any hatred or dislike towards men. I think you're confusing them with misandrists. They hate men. So while lesbians can be misandrists, heterosexual girls can be misandrists too. I'm not sure how it works, but I know of one who probably is, although I'm not sure because she's just messed up in a lot of ways.

Why does it matter to you so much? All a lesbian is, is a woman attracted to other women. Any woman, lesbian or bisexual or straight, etc can be a misandrist. Are you a misandrist because you don't find men sexually attractive?
