Why do people want to cheat but if you cheat it is wrong?

Cheating is wrong because it hurts the person you're with. If you're in a committed, monogamous relationship with someone and you want to have sex with someone else, you should either resist the urge, or break up with them. But you shouldn't sleep with other people behind your partner's back because that will make them feel betrayed and potentially traumatize them, giving them trust issues in the future.

If you have a hard time staying monogamous at all, but still want a one on one loving relationship, then you should find someone who agrees to have an open relationship with you. But you should never find someone who desires a closed relationship and then cheat on them. It's just cruel to that person, and completely avoidable.

Unfortunately sometimes is just not that easy "to break up" .. I'm not saying it's right to cheap but a lot of people think it's so easy to break up.. sometimes it's not especially if 2 people have been together for a whole and their lives are intertwined somehow.

It's called double standards.. my last girlfriend was like this. Cheat on me all the time ( I found out later) but was super possessive and controlling over me
