How is someone so well versed in expressing love and or hatred to the world but not to the person they love or Hate?

Because we're usually scared unsure about how to express our true feelings to the ones we love, especially if we aren't sure what they feel about us. It's the fear of rejection that holds us back.

Why else would anyone be nervous about talking to their crush?

Once again, it's the fear of rejection holding them back. If a friend of yours is also friends with them, maybe they'd know more about it, or you too, if you can look closely. There are some obvious telltale signs people give off when they're crushing on someone, so look out for those and play on them

Lol I didn't mean the word "play" by playing with their feelings, so I apologize if you misunderstood. What I meant was you can use what you get to know from them to your advantage and give them hints that you too are interested (if you are) and make it easier for them to open up and come into their own.

If they didn't really like you even after you giving them obvious signs, then either they're really bad at reading signals, or they just aren't that into you. Good luck
