How would you react if you gift your partner a dress and his/her cousin borrowed it but not giving it back?

she said that her cousin is not giving it back. But what worries me is.. I guess if it was that special to her, she would have kept on asking for it. It’s not expensive or rare, but still you know..its a gift from beloved!

I gifted that one an year back and recently I gifted another expensive dress. Her cousin borrowed that one last week. I don’t know if she would give it back.

what would you do/say in this situation?

That sounds more like she gave the cousin the dresses and that's why she isn't pushing for them back

If I gave someone a dress and they basically gave it away? I would be pissed off and I was when it happened to me. I brought my niece for her christening a $40 jacket as a gift which was quite expensive for a baby under 12 months old and my sister gave it away. Years later I had also brought my niece and nephew these tablets and not even a week later my sister gave them back to me because the kids grandmother had brought them tablets after I had already brought the kids the ones I did.
