My ex boyfriend had been together 5 years and he just broke up with me and told me to leave the house. So I moved out and left.

A week later he messages me saying how are you going just wanting to check in?

I replied and then he said that he does miss me but he doesn't think he could've made it work and that we need time apart and that he hopes I understand.
