Why do some woman stay in a relationship they don't like?
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yFor two reasons. 1. Women bond with men. And when they're bonded they'd just soon cut off thier own arm than end the relationship. This is a good thing for guys because it allows her to forgive some of the stupid s*** we do. Even though we've hurt her feelings she won't quit us. But it's bad for her because these same feelings make it much harder to see the logic when she's bonded herself to man who is actually a piece of s***. This is one of the things I find entertaining about this site is just the sheer numbers of f***ed up women on here that want you to tell them how to get a man to be a quality guy. Half of these women just have unrealistic expectations. But the other half have simply chosen douchebags. And futily try to make him not be a douchebag rather than just admit she made a mistake and fell for a douchebag.😆😆😆
That brings up reason number 2. Women have a tough time discerning fact from fiction, fantasy from reality. Men are led more by logic and women more by feelings (no one from either is 100% some men are more emotional some women are more logical). But in general a woman's FEELINGS about things permeate everything she thinks. This is why the most successful men, Pic-up artists etc. Know how to lie effectively. It's the best weapon a guy has with women. Most women would rather hear a pleasant lie that make them feel all squishy then a harsh truth. Most douchebags are really good liars (at least as far as a woman is concerned. Of course guys can tell he's lying😆). So women once they're chosen and bonded to a douchebaghe can cheat on her repeatedly (so long as he lies and says he's sorry and it won't happen again). Because she'll want to believe it. So much that she'll ignore all the logic staring her in the face.😆😆😆 How can you not find this fact about women hilarious? They're basically like grown little children when it comes to relationships.
I could get into other stuff like self esteem, self respect, positive male role models in her formative years. He role models of womanhood etc. That will all play a part in her ability to have healthy relationships/ partners etc. But this post is long enough.

Asker+1 yI've read this and when I'm finished work I'll reply and touch on these points
Asker+1 ySo I do agree with your points and it's unfortunate because these sort of guys don't really deserve these girls they get manipulated and just have a shit relationship they don't like and stay and suffer and logically its obvious they should leave but can't. In terms of what's real and true I also agree. They need the truth and being told the truth hurts but again... Lies stack on top of lies and adds fuel to the fire.
The final thing that makes that fire boom I think is unfortunate if a girl (and a guy too) had a bad childhood or trauma and then goes into a toxic and abusive relationship it makes that even worse. It's just all downhill but they HAVE to have the mental strength to understand it all
Opinion Owner+1 yTo be fair both genders do this. We as species don't always choose the best people for us. Because feelings aren't logical. And we tend to chase what we feel. But since men are generally more logical and women more emotional women are ESPECIALLY susceptible to this.
This is why when I'm on this site I try to Guage how open the woman is to listening. Because most simply want you to tell them how to change the guy thier with. When many times they simply just picked a lemon for a guy. You can't turn bologna into steak.
This used to bother me when I was your age because I used to think, "hey I want a relationship and a lot of these women want a guy who will treat them right. I would be that guy. But the simple truth is these women do not want me. They'll NEVER want me. They'll never accept any guy that will treat them well. Because they simply are not attracted to that. There's actually a YouTube that explains why this is. https://youtu.be/Hvysy11716g
Asker+1 yGood point. I see it more and more and in all honesty it's clear they are suffering or don't like what goi8ng on but they stay as if they "owe" something. That video i believe is spot on. Childhood is very very important and i see that too in certain people who had childhood trauma and sometimes its scary because you can have a woman that like 28 years old for example and she acts like a 15 year old mentally.. Very good video thank you for that

+1 yAfraid of being alone. And some of them like to be abused. Years ago there was a guy outside my house beating the crap out of a girl. I ran outside, tackled the guy and pulled him off of her. As I had him down on the ground and was holding him down so he couldn't get up and hurt her she started hitting me on my back and the back of my head. I saw her face and realized that this wasn't the first time he did that to her.
Some women like to be abused. Others are just afraid to be alone and worried they won't be able to find someone else.

Asker+1 yThat;'s very very sad and you;re a proper man for doing that. She's probably been brainwashed or trauma from before. Thank you very much for you answer sir.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yBecause they do like. No one does anything they don't want, these women LIKE being in these relationships more then they like being alone. It means that it does bring them something that they highly value and they are committed to it. Whether is kids, security, sex, etc. You might think they are miserable from your POV and how they talk/complain, but it's just venting; just because something is hard doesn't mean we need not to talk about it or lie about it, is human nature to share and remember you only know what others let you know, and often times we just assume things about others because we simply don't have enough insight. So the answer is because they have a reason they are committed to.
It also has a lot to do with a man being completely irrelevant to the relationship to many women who realized it's not about the guy it's about what they are getting out of it, because most men are the same and they wouldn't gain anything with another one.

Asker+1 yWould you also past trauma could be a reason for this too?
+1 yattachment issues , not valuing her own worth , trauma , or she just wants him for money or free meals , hoping he would change , or believing the fantasy she made up about him in her mind which is not true, bored and can't find anyone else , she might be also toxic and enjoys making him angry and loves the drama

Asker+1 ywow very good and real answer you wrote i beleive that is all correct. How could a woman change that to find a better man who won't treat her bad you think?
- +1 y
once she'll change her self she'll attract the right men for her , she has to heal and work on loving herlself and knowing her own value , it's all about hr own beliefs too , like maybe if she grew up with her parents having a toixc rltp that could also affect her oen beliefs in rltps
Asker+1 yI think he hit it spot on. Very very well said

How are we all the same? Just curious
- +1 y
@WanderingLoveWizard the way y'all treat women and also the way y'all act in relationships. It's all the same. All bad lol
- +1 y
What about your husband?
- +1 y
He's proof that we're not ALL bad.
Mainly just me and some other guys - +1 y
@WanderingLoveWizard ehhh he's about the same as most men just more chill so I can put up with him ๐
- +1 y
@WanderingLoveWizard haha why do you think you are bad?
- +1 y
๐ Well that's fair I guess.
And I don't know if I'm bad or not, but I can't keep a girl interested for very long beyond my looks, so I must be doing something wrong - +1 y
Like this current girl. She never texts me, but she gets mad that I don't text her. I've tried many times, but every time I do I get a one word reply 2 hours later like she doesn't want to talk.
So I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.
Anyway, you're not my therapist. Sorry lol - +1 y
@WanderingLoveWizard beyond your looks? Problem is you are too good looking then lol
- +1 y
Lol no. I mean I can attract women and get my foot in the door, but beyond that it's hard to keep them around. Something else about me turns them off when they get to know me. Probably because I'm boring. I'm not as fun and wild as I used to be, that's for sure
- +1 y
But hard life will do that to a guy
- +1 y
I need to stop chasing younger women, that's my problem. People in their 30s are more in my wave length
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yIโm currently in this situation. I do love him, but I donโt like how our relationship is now. He tends to get annoyed and mad easily at me over nothing and never communicates. Plus he spends more time with friends then me. In the beginning he was different, he was sweeter and kinder with words. I notice absolutely no compliments now unless itโs my tits heโs looking at. I stay because I do care and hope he wants to be how he once was with me.

Asker+1 yare you talking to any other guy other than him. Not implying you're cheating but talk to see "whats out there" for example. Also how long have you guys been together for?
Opinion Owner+1 yNo I am not talking to anyone else. Me and him have been together for 4 years
Asker+1 yOverall is this guy a good guy? For example does he have things going for him? ambitious? Has future goals? How long ago did he not communicate good or stopped giving attention for example? Do you guys still go on regular dates?
Also if you want to talk more in depth about it you can message me or we can continue here. This reminds me of two girls i know.
Opinion Owner+1 yHe is a good guy, there are some things about him I wish he would change but I canโt force him. Honestly itโs been a year or more that the affection and attention has lessened. Being long distance it is hard to go on dates but I try to get him to do movie nights. He just is gaming a lot so not all the time does he make time
Asker+1 yI'll be very very honest with you in seems like the "flame" died down. There are two girls I know and they were in certain situation like the guy was not giving her attention, he ignored all conversations, didn't care and low and behold, both of those girls got cheated on unfortunately. I'm not saying the same thing is happening to you but it's just those girls I know. One girl is very very beautiful but if you were to ask her if she thinks she's beautiful she says no because her ex made her believe that so in her case this guy was super toxic and rude to her. Be honest with be so he would only compliment you on your boobs and body?
Opinion Owner+1 yI hope he doesnโt ever cheat, I truly donโt think he has. I mean heโs said some things that have bothered me but never seemed to cheat. Yes he mostly compliments me in photos that show more
Asker+1 yWhat were some of the things he would say?
Opinion Owner+1 yOnce I asked if he ever thought about being a player. He said โIโve thought about it but never wouldโ. Heโs made comments on girls with big tits and just stuff like that
Asker+1 yHmmm... Ok I mean if it was me having a girlfriend I would only have eyes for her, I would never ever mention another girl because I feel she clearly wouldn't like that and start comparing herself to the girl. another question is this... So you probably tried talking to him to change and he's not. Before, have you guys have serious conversation about later on in life for example marriage, kids, etc?
Asker+1 yMy honest opinion is this. I don't think that chemistry is there, he only likes you at this point for your body pretty much. I know you want to change him but only he can figuire that out. You seem like a nice girl and you're caring so if you don't get that back why be in something where the love is not 50/50. I'm very very certain you will find someone else better in the future.
795 opinions shared on Relationships topic. because the guy provides some sort of value e. g. he's ugly but he's rich
in that case, it's not the guy's fault but hers for giving him false hope

Asker+1 yInteresting opinion and yup sadly sometimes it's the case
Iโm in that situation right now. Prolly fear of change?
Asker+1 yWhat exactly is that fear of change for you? For example do you think you won't find anyone else? is he making you think you can't get someone better? You're maybe used to it and dont wanna change? How long have you two been together?
Asker+1 yI understand your analogy but at the same time you don't want to miserable forever. I have a friend and she is married. She's 4 years older than me and she HATES her marriage. Her husband doesn't really like her either. They don't have kids and yet both can't leave even though when I talk to her about it she cries because she wants to leave but can't. So I told her you want to miserable for the next 30 plus years? Its gotten so toxic and bad they're in the same place and text each other.
Asker+1 yI don't know you but I'm just looking for you. Do what's best for you :)

Like my relationship with this site. rofl00 Reply Probably they have a toxic attachment to the guy or have some unsolved trauma

Asker+1 yI think sometimes too the guy cab be manipulative and insecure himself. You're right I think with the trauma in their past.
Because of attachment and/or fear of being alone.
