Almost every day, I wake up with some song loop running through my head. It's often something obscure that I haven't heard in years and only know a bit of.
When my wife is home, I'll walk into the kitchen and say "Song of the day" and try to sing what lyrics I know, along with the melody and instrumental hooks. It's a regular thing that I do and it's kind of an inside joke. What's funny is, if it's a song she remembers or likes, I'll hear her humming it absent mindely after that while she is puttering around.
A couple days ago, it was I Think We`re Alone Now by Tommy James & The Shondells. The two of use started sing it together with feeling while dancing and hugging. It led to other things.
Yesterday, there was a question on GAG about favorite country western songs. I don't listen to modern country western music, but there is some old stuff that I really like.
The song El Paso by Marty Robbins popped into my head. I can't remember the last time I heard that song, but I like it and so does my wife.
It stayed in my head off and on for the rest of the day, and I sang it to my wife when she got home from work. LOL
Oh, I sing to my 8 dogs all the time.
For instance, I sing this to Margaux. The music is from the first verse in the opening of Dora the Explorer, but I changed the lyrics.
"Margaux, Margaux, Margaux, she's from Fargo.
That's a long way from Key Largo.
When she flies, she goes as airline cargo,
Transferring through O'Hare in Chicago."
in the car today and about to go back to work for a double shift so ill sing again in the car
My guitar does the singing for me, and it will soon sing at a wedding.

I was in the car trying to hit some notes which I wasn't close to hitting but I couldn't do anything but laugh at myself
I pretty much always sing to myself to at least some degree , think I've always done that.
