No. However I did once upon a time.
Lying is actually regarded as a mandatory step for learning to interact socially with other people. It is, shockingly enough, a sign of social ability and empathy more so than if you do not lie.
So nearly all of us lied at some point. A lot. And then we gradually got principles and learned not to, for the most part.
Today I would only outright lie if someone else's life or wellbeing is at stake. Otherwise I value my view of self too much to lie. I have no issues with irony, omitting things and so on though. Which are forms of lying in a sense. But learning those grayzones is why lying is a staple rite of passage growing up.
Generally, no. I learned early on in life that sometimes, the only moral way forward is to lower your visor, raise your spear, and charge full-tilt down the path of most resistance. Honesty's a lot like that- and it's the one thing that neither man nor beast nor God almighty can take away from you. Why give it up for nothing?
