How long did it take for you to love her?

The first one was very fast. A week maybe. Most were in the 3-6 month range. One had been a friend, she snuck up on me, can't say how long it took there. I remember one that was striking, at first glance I was amazed that she moved so fluidly, but as for love, I think that took about a month. Sometimes you meet under unique circumstances. Being in a situation where you are reminded you may die can bring you together. Those can happen faster than "I saw her at a coffee shop one day." Also depends largely on WHAT that time looks like. If you see each other once a week for 3 hours that's different than spending 16 hours a day together 6 days a week or starting off spending two weeks together somewhere. I suppose collective hours should be counted, because in a week we may have had 140 hours together vs couples that see each other 4 hours a week. How do you compare those? My first love we were in NC... we went to Maryland for tacos (I heard they were really good), so we had more time to talk than a typical "let's go get tacos for lunch" sort of first date and then we spent the weekend there (in different hotel rooms... at first). It happens when it happens... and our watches and calendars aren't consulted.
