I am big on pet names, let's see a couple favorites from lover's past and present:

Dollface, ninja-boo, wee-bee, lambchop, blossom, fishy, slip-n-slide (aka slip-n-side), freckles, wildcard, fofinha.

I typically will also call my sweet the typical things as well like babe/baby, sugar, queen, sweetie, schatzi, cherie, honey, &c.

I forgot to mention though maybe it's obvious, it's usually a specific-to-them pet name. like for instance "lambchop" was because the woman's name was Rachel, and she was religious. the name Rachel means "lamb of God", so that's how the nickname came about.

My preferred nickname for my fiancée is "Xiǎo sháozi." My fiancée is Chinese and that expression is "Little Spoon" in Mandarin.

I’ve had several nicknames for my past girlfriends. My previous relationship and I had nicknames. I called her “Honeysuckle” and she called me “Honeybee”. My fourth relationship called me “Teddy Bear” while I called her “Buttercup”. I called my second relationship “Sweetcake”. That’s mostly it.
