What is your preferred pet name to be called by your partner in a relationship, and what is your favorite to use for them?

By pet name I mean names like Sweetie, Hun, Babe, stuff like that. Which are your favorites to hear and to use? If you don't like pet names, then let me know why you hate them.

I don't hate them, but babe and hon are about all I've ever been called. I don't ask for them. I prefer to be called by my name, personally.

I had a very funny name, Tuddy, used only by my mom's sister, my Aunt Jean. Since she was the only one who used it, I loved it. Made me feel special.

Had no pet name with the rest of my family at all: not my parents, brother, grandparents other aunt or uncle. So, don't prefer to be called anything at all but my name.

I don’t have a problem with pet names. I just don’t really care for the generic ones like the ones you listed. Frankly, I cannot stand “sweetie”. It reminds me of being at a late night dive diner where the waitress calls everyone, “sweeties” or “sugar”. Not a fan. No, I tend to prefer if a pet name is used that it is something unique to her and to me.

I just do with it. If she digs it and I'm into her then whatever. The oddest I'ne been referred to consistantly would surely be "kitty dragon' or just dragon, dragon ze cat (french accent on that one). She seemed to like the "hot air" breath weapon when an attack was imminent
