Yes and no. First off most women today are very aggressive so a lot of women cheat today simply because they can. Most feel no remorse about it because everything is about here feelings and so many feel it's justified. But yes, I'd say men do it more for the physical gratification and women more for the emotional gratification (don't get me wrong there are some hoes out there that'll will sleep with most men bit it's not the norm... yet). So there is a difference in why the genders cheat. But they're BOTH wrong when they do it. There is NO justification for cheating.

I don't want to say most, but a lot of women will find a reason to cheat with a more attractive guy. Especially one she works with and has grown to like.

People say it's all about emotions with women, or some need not being met, but that's not always true. Many will cheat purely based on pleasure, or thinking they've found an upgrade.
I can back this theory with anecdotal evidence lol

1) isn't sexually satisfied

2) isn't emotionally satisfied or isn't respected by her partner (she might be in a toxic rltp and cheats hoping to find another man)

3) she's the toxic one and doesn't really care about the rltp or if her partner found out bc she doesn't give a fuck about him

4) she's been manipulated or she's extremely dumb to ruin he rltp

5) it boosts her ego and self confidence
