Moving on from something and accepting that it's over doesn't mean you need to feel nothing about it or somehow be happy about the outcome. Some situations just suck. I had a bunch of friendships get destroyed because of my exGF and a shitty former friend turning on me (unrelated to the girlfriend) and trying to drag my name through the mud. I am still very sad about that whole situation and the loss of those relationships, however shallow they were. There are certain situations we go through in life that truly change who we are as people. That situation changed who I am as a person.
By that same token, it doesn't prevent me from meeting people and forming new friendships/relationships. It just makes me sad that those old ones are destroyed and can't be repaired.
No. But I would wish her well in getting over it.
I have a ladyfriend who's guy left her and after a yr. And a half she's still not over it. To make matters worth she's dated 2 different guys in that time. I keep telling her she needs to stop and not date anyone till she's over it. She's just exacerbating the problem. Now she's talking about moving to a new town as though that were going to fix it. 🙄
No, I have been in this position before and I ended up splitting with the new person, not to go back to my ex, but because I matured and realised it was the right thing to do, not only for my now (ex partner) but for myself.
How can you truly love someone else and let your relationship flourish if you are hung up on your ex? I think it also shows that the person isn't that mature or experienced when it comes to relationships, and do not understand that you need a break after a breakup, to fully heal and move on before you even consider dating, otherwise you hurt yourself, and others.
Probably not. If they aren't ready to move past their ex, they're probably nor ready for another relationships regardless of how I feel about them. It'd be a rebound at best, not a real relationship. There's probably some context in which I would consider it, but my general answer would be no.

No. One of my exes was not over his ex. He would cry on a weekly basis about how she had moved on (she got engaged), it was incredibly hard for me to watch him be in so much pain and not being enough to even be a distraction from that. It was heartbreaking in so many ways. I ended up breaking up with him but we stayed friends and he's moved on finally
I did that one but was that worst thing ever and kept talking about his ex girifriend and yep did get reused gift that were meant for his ex boyfriend. after i said you kept talking about you ex girlfriend and always did agrue after that and as well of having diffenet opioion about washing end that made us two split up.
HELL NOOO.
Because every time you both have sex. He’s gonna pretend he’s having sex with HER. Not you. I’ve experienced that. And also, I too have done this with a new partner. I would pretend that the Ex is screwing me. Not the current partner.
It’s why I would never date someone who’s hung up on their Ex
@ventustalks
They’re so hung up. That literally they pretend your that person in the bedsheets.
The play pretend. Basically you don’t actually exist. You’re just there as a body to keep him warm. You’re the rebound.
Good lord, WHY? Avoid such folk as anything but friends. When they stop whining about the breakup, they'll be starting to heal. Not until then should you even THINK about doing anything further with them.
Yes. My husband took on the task after my previous relationships left me scarred. He's embraced and loved me the entire time, and now our relationship is the strongest and closest I've ever had to someone else.
Ahh, I mean I did have an unhealthy attachment to the most recent ex. My husband knew I still had unresolved feelings and we're still here 6 years later.
No, people who don't know how to move on are a turn off.
if people would not date because of that, there would be a few billion less people dating at all. as to a degree, that is all that "baggage" really is and everyone adds baggage as they move on.
No tried that shit and he hurt me the worst I ever been hurt.. stay away from hurt people they will only bring pain..
I would consider it, sometimes it's with some good love that allows you to open up and release the bad love.
No.
If they're not over their ex, they're not ready for a fresh relationship.
no... but some people who wpuld mention their ex doesn't mean they love them thry just want accuracy
No way.
Life is too short to waist on situations like this.
Sure, I would try to be nice and help her put the whole thing in the past.
I think such a relationship is tiring, so I wouldn't want it.
I dated such girl… and it was rlly difficult bcz all the time she’d start telling me about him
Immediately NO.
I’d wait 6 months don’t wanna be on the rebound.
I tried it doesn't work.
Is there any other way? Rarely anyone is over
Instant and easy no.
I'd never
