I don’t think we are equal at all. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think anyone is better than anyone but their are certain things that one gender has more value over. Why I believe this:
Women - Are born with value, women hold a lot of sexuality naturally men flock to that it’s very easy for women to reproduce, beauty is natural (for a lot of women) which unfortunately society holds as our main view of value, men will jump through hoops to try & pursue a women, and she truly doesn’t have to do much. But our value expires once we can’t have children & our beauty fades (not with our children though if we are good moms)

Men - Aren’t really born with value (pls don’t take to offense just my opinion). Men are in survival mode to try & reproduce which is why the sexual urge is so strong & why your balls hurt if you can’t successfully get a mate, nature’s punishment. So men have to build value in modern day it can be as simple as being good looking, charismatic, having money or expensive objects, funny… anything to make women flock to you. Because biologically your trying your hardest to reproduce and pull “the value” which is the gender to create the child. I heard a man admit when he gets a female he feels in control and when he gets to have sex he feels confidence and even feels it in his d*ck. That’s because it’s like an achievement, you scored, vs when you don’t your balls hurt, you feel frustrated. That’s because biology your meant to spread your seed therefore you have to build value for women to be interested because women are more of the value.

Now I’m not saying any one is less than anyone, I think everyone has value & should be treated equal but when it comes to biology women are the value.

Now some of the strengths & weakness of both genders
Men:
Strength - Men are stronger so if a man is matured & tamed the animal in himself he makes a great protector, men are very head strong if a man puts his mind & heart to something he can do anything, a man has balls! Men are more likely to take on risky situations
Weakness- Very fragile ego, possessive, lack of compassion/empathy, more aggressive, harder for men to mature & establish emotional maturity

Women:
Strength - Mentally stronger, has more empathy/compassion, nurturing, our bodies can create life, & make men jump through hoops over, we are born with value
Weakness - Can be emotionally unstable, possessive, more manipulated because of emotions, weaker physically, biologically the prey

~This is a generalization not everyone will agree or resonate with this because not everyone is the same~

I voted "Yes" because more or less, the question is true. Most men are far more expendable than most women are. However, other than having children, men produce far more value to society than women do. Therefore, in one respect, women have more value and in the other respect, men have more. Therefore, assuming men and women have equal value is close enough to the truth.

Men and women are not equal, there are more differences between the sexes / genders than similarities. If all the women vanished today then society would work just fine it's just that humanity would be unable to reproduce, however if men were to disappear then society would collapse in a few days because all the infrastructure jobs are taken care by men.

Saying that, men and women are valued at different times of their lives. A young man has little value in life because he's replaceable (disposable) and has not acquired any specific skill to make him useful in society. On the same hand a young woman is highly valued because she has innate ability to reproduce. But that also diminishes over time and that is where men who have put in the work and effort gain in value.

So to conclude, men and women are not equal, but they're equally valuable but at different points of their lives and for different lengths of time.

Time, society and natural selection has made men and women different. One glaring difference is that women can carry children and breast feed, while men usually can't.

It takes both sexes to make a baby, so in that regard alone I see that both sexes have equal value, though it is expressed quite differently.

I like it that way. Just imagine if everyone was the same value and ability. I would get bored with fellow humans, and probably get tired of fending off the lustful all alike humans pursuing my mate.

Sure, a man is capable of taking a piss standing up - without issues, I as a woman can not. (Unless I want to piss all over myself). A male - is incapable to become pregnant and females can't get someone pregnant. The average men are more likely to be physically stronger than the average woman. So we do have different cabablites but we share more than we differ & we're equally important and valuable.

Yes I believe men and women are equal in value because we do different tasks in life. There for we both have value. As for physical strength, well men are just stronger on average.
Look at the trans- women (men) who are entering women’s sports and crushing women’s world records. These were average men in their sport.
So I believe women are every bit as valuable as men I won’t ask a girl to carry 100lbs bags of cement from my truck to a project. But I will ask a women’s help for designing the project I’m working on.

Yeah. Biologically, men have more muscle fibers for example, allowing them to be the stronger sex if we are talking in a general sense. I read that in a textbook on biology a long time ago. However, wow, look at the capabilities of women! They can give birth to life!

Yeah that is a given. Both men and women have equal value but have different strengths and weaknesses. It obviously differs with the individual but generally speaking there are things men excel at that women do not, and there are also things that women typically excel at that men do not. It doesn’t make one less valuable than the other

both man and a woman subject being raised the same, have the same lessons, and then given the same workouts
(maybe based on their physiological differences- like women have lower center of balance)

Yes. Both are equal in value and importance but they aren’t always able to do the same things. For example, a man is not capable in getting pregnant, and a woman is not capable of having the same amounts of physical strength as a man.

However, I don't think it's necessary to bring up the topic of capabilities in relation to an individual's worth. "value" is an arbitrary assignment based on subjective opinion in this context. "capabilities" is not. so in this regard, value is a wishy washy nonsense word and "capabilities" offer objectively verifiable metrics. and of course men and women will differ in this.

Let's not confuse ability with capability. Ability is about skills or proficiencies you already have. Capabilities are about the "potential" to learn or acquire a skill.

With that definition in mind, what skill does a man have the "potential" to acquire that a woman does not, unless you're specifically speaking about raw physical strength skills?

Of course women and men have different capabilities. It's a physiological fact. As to "value" well, that is a subjective assessment. But I'd say that the fact that none of us would be here talking about it without both sexes, is a pretty good argument for equal value.
