They can be treated relatively equal, but they are not made equally and it's simple biology. Women will always have to deal with their period, getting pregnant and all what comes with it. Men never will. In the time that a girl is down and out from those things, which can be for weeks and sometimes several months, we can be fully concentrating on getting stronger and smarter. We have that advantage 100%. So our CAPABILITIES may be similar, more so nowadays, but the LIKELINESS that it will be isn't too high. Other factors like males being less likely to live as long also are at play but those vary. Whether or not women get at least SOME time and mental issues at some point is an automatic factor to being a woman.

Add this to several years where many women wore corsets, or super tight cloth stuff, that affected their breathing, and you have men with far more capability over time.

It was a MASSIVE mistake making clothing so bad for either gender. Corsets and all the bulky stuffy clothing men wore even in super hot temperatures was always a terrible and stupid idea. No doubt also had an impact on how families were made too and as decendants, we see the results.

Oh and add in the tamponsand toilets a girl needs. It's more expensive to have a female baby than a male one too.

    So yes, many differences.

No they’re not. They never will be. If one side has to appeal to the other for rights, then no it’s not equal. Even though women have rights, that could easily be taken away by force by men. So these rights that women have are being enforced by us men who are good who want women to have rights. There are men who don’t want women to have rights. Women may think other wise but rights are upheld pretty much by men. When domestic violence situations happen it’s usually men who are dispatched to the situation. The same w fires, hostage situations, etc, etc. Yes I know there’s a handful of women who do that but it’ll never be to the point where it is a majority of women being employed as police officers, fire dept, military, etc. Aside from that as far as domestic violence situations, cops usually assume it’s the man upon arrival. Courts treat men different, especially in family court. Men are usually sentenced to longer prison sentences. There’s a lot of situations where things are not equal. I work in the medical field. A field dominated by women. But as a man I’m always called to deal w heavy patients. I’m always called to deal w or sit w patients who are hostile. I’m not complaining so don’t get that twisted, I’m just pointing out different inequalities. In general men are still expected to pay for the bills, plan dates, the date itself, put their life on the line for women, and so on.

The idea of equality between men and women can be approached from various angles, including legal, social, cultural, and biological perspectives. Legally, in many societies, men and women are considered equal, with the same rights and opportunities under the law. However, in practice, there are still disparities in areas like pay, representation in leadership roles, and access to healthcare, among others.

Biologically, there are obvious physical differences between men and women, but these differences don't necessarily translate into a lack of equality when it comes to rights or societal value. Equality often refers to the idea that all people, regardless of gender, should have the same opportunities and be treated with the same dignity and respect.

The struggle for gender equality continues in many parts of the world, and while progress has been made, achieving full equality remains a complex challenge, influenced by cultural, societal, and historical factors.

Men and women are not equal because they are not the same. People are not equal because they are not the same. Some are rich, some are poor. Some are smart, healthy, and beautiful, most are not. That is not equal.

Even in law, people are not equal. Men and women are not treated the same in family courts. Moreover, call a judge and threaten him over the telephone and you will go to jail. However, if someone threatens you over the telephone, you complaint will be ignored by the police because there is no way to carry the threat over the telephone. Furthermore, justice should be "just us." Laws that apply to you doesn't apply to the rich and powerful.

Maybe not on a worldly perspective, but I make sure that all females are equal to me. I don't deserve more than a female. Let me change that thought. I think that women are do a lot more just because of their femininity. They have kids for the man. They bring up the children with the man's help. Of course, but the mother does twice as much as the man they do the cooking for the family. They do a lot for the human species period. And a lot of men, I really don't respect that, but then on the flip side of that, you got women out there better standalone, they're tired of the man's bullshit. So they stand alone, which kind of makes them equal to the man 'cause now they're doing it by themselves. You know? I don't know if any of that makes sense. I'm speaking the house coming out of mine. Brain. That's kind of how women prove that they're equal because I drop eighteen rillars, and I got some ladies that are 4'8 foot that drive big trucks. And yes, they could just like big trucks, but I think a part of that is to prove that they can do it. You know? So that's kind of like, yeah, a wide open question with an array of answers that can come from you a million people, that's just my view of the question

It depends on what you're talking about I mean physical strength no but I mean me as a guy is a man I look at women completely equal as me because that's just who I am I don't care what society says I don't care what other guys say because most guys have egos but I treat everybody the same and as far in a relationship of course we are equal we are a team we are partners there's nobody better than anybody else or anything like that we all have assets and we all have negatives about us so it really doesn't matter what matters is everybody gets along and treats each other with respect and kindness

Like equal how? No two people are equal, you aren't even equal to your self minute to minute.

I think women are just as important as men, and I don't think we should have limits on people because of their gender. I think women can do anything a man can do (outside of producing a Y lol)

What does "truly equal" even mean between men and women? That's what it all comes down to.

I have tested this many times and always get the same result. I ask a feminist to tell me what true equality looks like to them, and ask them to be very specific. They'll always give me a very general answer at first. The more I press them to address specific issues like reproductive and parental rights, or women working in dangerous professions, the more flustered, defensive and angry they get, because they can't offer any valid answer.

There is no such thing as true equality between the sexes, because they are different. An apple will not and cannot be equal to an orange. But feminists can and will continue to hide behind an illusion of "equality" as their purported goal because it supports their agenda as long as no one questions them on it.

Why would a woman want to lower herself to be a man's equal?

Everything he gives her, she multiplies.

    He gives:

    Ingredients. She gives a feast
A house. She gives a home
    Sperm. She gives a baby
    Stress. She gives... Oh fuck...

Depends on what you mean by "equal".

In my internal, seldom enunciated perspective, do I think women are equally capable? Well no I don't. I am quite sure of my superiority as a man. I don't think most women have earn't the vote yet.

Do I think women are of equal significance in society? Given child production is of the highest importance then yes I do and it can't be otherwise.

No two people are equal. But men and women are generally equal intellectually.

Men and women deserve equal rights and opportunities.

Physically, men and women are not equal. They are different. And both have their advantages.

No, I've never believed that. Men and women are physically different, with different skills.

I believe men and women are yes equal, if we see from human rights. women and men should be considered equal, meaning they deserve the same opportunities, respect, and treatment in all aspects of life. Like equal opportunity to get education, work and speak. etc

    Never.
And whether that’s a good or bad thing depends on the difference.
However, equality (fairness) is not always a good thing. Inequality (unfairness) is not always a bad thing.

Double standards, different insecurities, different life experiences = bad thing.

They look and sound different = good thing.

No. Men and women have different private parts and chromosomes.

Women can get pregnant and give birth, men can't.

Men and women also have different bone structures.

Besides, what I mentioned men and women have equal value and share 99% the same physiology, instincts and emotions.

    Why should they be, exactly?

It's a non-question as equality doesn't mean jack in most cases. You want things to be legal and proper, yes. But fighting for absolute equality in an inherently unequal system is just wasting time.

In most countries - No, unfortunately, most countries are still patriarchal.

That's not bad just for women, it's also bad for me... because patriarchal society teaches women to be passive/submissive.

    That's why I can't find a girlfriend.

There should be more dominant girls.

They want to and are actively trying to steal our rights over our own bodies. Making us into broodmares, with sometimes no recourse if we get raped. In ban states women are already even dying because the doctors are afraid to get in trouble.

Assuming that, for the sake of this argument, I concede that getting an abortion is a "right", has YOUR state banned abortion?

My question was: which rights of *yours* have been stolen? It wasn't "what things have been talked about in the media" or "what 'rights' have other people in other states lost".

Nope it hasn't, and I'm not here to argue semantics with you. I'm speaking for women in general. But the fact they're pushing for this nationally does affect my state too.

@itsannalee doesn't matter. It could be your husband of 30 years with love and care. It's still your body and yours alone

That’s why we need to be selective to let someone put the seeds. It means if you want to abort and your 30 husband of 30 years doesn’t allow it, doesn’t support your right about your body, it means you pick the wrong husband. It doesn’t matter how long you together, if you pick the wrong one you get the wrong one.

Men and women are different, therefore it's not possible to be equal.

Women and men are created differently biologically, physically and emotionally, but this difference does not eliminate the concept of equality. Social roles, expectations and opportunities should be equal. For example, it is not fair to work in the same position in business life and receive different salaries. Experience shows that equality should be supported by justice; this requires balancing rights and responsibilities.

Yeah, as in they are deserving to live, be free, etc as men are. No brainer really.

A man can work from sun to sun, but a woman’s work has never done. 😂

never? There are a lot of women who even work as construction worker. Or truck driver who work 24h a day. If you say rare, yeah. That’s true.
But if you said never, incorrect.

Tell that to JD Vance's dead grandmother who busted her ass to raise him because his mother was a junkie. She kept him away from bad influences and taught him how to be a man.

Well part of humor is knowing the crowd. You could probably tell an anti-Jew to rednecks but to somebody passionate about combating Holocaust denial or something, they are going to view it differently.

I love racist jokes but sexist jokes, not as much. I wouldn't take it personally man, jokes are hard to convey through text anyway.

Racist? LMAO I love the poontang, and they love me. Women don't respect pussies.

They love a man who will put them in their place. This dates back millions of years.

I don't find women I need to treat like children or dogs attractive. They can solve their daddy issues some other way.

Too vague. Obviously all male professional athletes would dominate female professional athletes

No, men are dominant and most women are submissive. I know that I am submissive.

No women are superior, they dictate who belongs or is ostracized from society and determine who will carry on in this world via reproduction

No, we are different beings with different functions. We are meant to be complimentary, not "equal".

Nothing is truly equal, so it's a weird question. If you see two brothers, they also won't be equal.

Men and women are equal in the respect, consideration, and freedom they deserve as human beings.
