Why do married women with kids often leave their husbands for a richer man?

I’ve seen it a lot in my adult life and wasn’t prepared for it. Very sad when I see it happen and I often worry for the children’s future.

Hypergamy is real, and unfortunately a lot of these women who leave their husbands thinking they are going to get with a higher status guy fail to realize they are recreational use only to him and they end up wrecking their families just so they can die alone.

Because they're just looking for someone who can provide them a stable life where they don't have to do much.

I’ve seen with a lot of guys who make a comfortable living. Guys making 100-300k a year. I’ve seen them leave them for guys who make millions a year.

I don't think a rich man wants a used woman with children. I would never accept a single mother, it would disgust me.
