Would you be able to move on from a 10 year relationship to marry somebody else?

She is marrying me due to parental pressure leaving her 10 years of relationship. She says she will be able to move on and will be happy with me. But i see sadness in her sometimes for her past. She wasn't in a declining relationship but had to come out. Has anyone been able to carry this type of situation successfully?

I'm probably not the right person to advise you on this man because of my militant views on this. She sounds like too big of a risk to me. I think when a person contemplates marriage there should be only one thought on thier mind "FOREVER" if you can't look at her and trust forever than you shouldn't even be considering her.

Never been in that situation but I think I would never get over it. I've been married to my husband for one year and if something for some reason happened to our relationship I feel like I would never get over him.
