As for how would I react. I'd react like most people who aren't insecure, controlling & trust their partner. Give them kudos for using their brain and not wasting money on Uber.

Why would I care if she or he got a ride from a friend inter of spending money on an Uber? That makes literally no sense whatsoever. Of course I wouldn't give a shit they went with a friend. Why sort of sociopath would think be bout that? Likely someone with massive insecurities and some major issues. Not a single person I've dated has ever had an issue with me having friends of both genders and I've never had an issue with them in the me regard.
