I was in situations very very close to this and i left before it did become physical abuse. Few ex's it almost became physical abuse when they were about to physically assault me and i left
if you want some REAL WORLD advice and not some fantasy land advice here it is.. DON'T go to the police they're useless. They'll victim blame YOU and try to pin the situation on YOU and try to have YOU arrested because you're a MAN. That's how fucked up the police are really sick in the head. And DON'T bother with a restraining order because when you try to get a protective order the bitch judge will only give it for 5 days at first in that time a sheriff has to issue a summons for the other party (the defendant) to appear in court and testify for themselves (in this case your pysycho girlfriend) and the judge will only grant 30 lousy fucking days a restraining order then if you want it extended the whole bullshit cycle has to repeat all over again and you might get 6 months or a year if you're lucky the most they do is 4 years and it has to CONSTANTLY be renewed otherwise when it expires all bets are off. Going to a hospital won't do you any good because the bitches female nurses will just mock you behind your back at the nurses station with the charge nurse charge ER nurse and the doctor himself might mock you behind your back as well AND they'll try to issue a PSYCH test on YOU and have YOU psychiatrically evaluated instead of her. You got to remember something you're dealing with a GENDER BIASED corrupt court system and a GENDER BIASED medical system
Your only real option is just leave. Because if she starts hitting you now the physical abuse WILL get worse and she could have some of her male friends assault you possibly break into your home and assault you. When i was in the same situation as yours which was plenty of times that ALWAYS crossed my mind and I had to leave before things got out of hand
