How do I get over a boy who doesn’t love me back (Info below) ?

I've known him for over half my life. We recently reconnected and I thought he liked me. Randomly one day he asked if I liked him or something after we got into an argument. I got scared and said no. Then got mad, said I “act like I like him” then when he doesn’t do what I want I treat him like shit? Then says “everyone I’ve talked to this about has said you like me”. Then he blocked me and told me to stay away from him. This was months ago and he still calls me by a shortened version of my name and still ‘touches me’ on my shoulder. How do I get over him? (Sorry if this is all over the place)

Damn, that sucks. Breakups are always rough. Seems like he's kind of sending mixed signals too if he's still touching you and stuff.

As for getting over him, honestly just give it time. Do things that make you feel good to take your mind off him, hang with friends, pick up a new hobby, whatever. It'll still hurt for a bit but it'll get easier. You'll find someone better who actually knows how they feel and will treat you right.

This guy just sounds confused. Maybe some space would help make things clearer. Focus on you and do your own thing for a while. He'll either come around for real or you'll realize you're better off without all the drama. Either way, staying busy and working on yourself is the best thing right now. It'll get better, I promise!

Ah shoot, that's no good if going out is making it even more tough. Sometimes being around other people can just remind you of him more ya know? Maybe try distracting yourself in other ways for a bit. Do something chill at home like binge a funny show, play some video games, do a craft or hobby. Getting your mind off it even if you're by yourself could help. And don't be too hard on yourself, breaking away from someone you really liked takes time. Just take it easy and do stuff that takes your mind off things. It'll get better slow, you just gotta hang in there!
