Part of the reason why I don't want kids is because I feel I wouldn't love them as much my wife when married.

Kids are kids. Of course you would love them. But they will eventually grow up and have their own lives. But your wife is your life partner. You share your life with her. Kids don't have a clue. There is no comparison.

Full disclosure: My wife and I have been happily married for 26 years. We don't have any kids and are glad. I have to say that I'd be lonely and lost without her. No one could be a more trusted friend and partner.
