Definitely better to have a ride or die friend!

Friends are supposed to support you, no matter how wrong you might be, and they'll be there for you to the best of their ability. BFFs know where you've been, and they know you when you're ugly and crying or hot and thriving. They wipe your tears and straighten your crown.

Any ride or die partner has always ended in a volcano of passion and ice. Now it's normal to want your partner to be your biggest supporter, but quite frankly, they should also motivate you to be the best version of yourself. Nobodies perfect, but putting your partner through the wringer is more often toxic. Your partner should be there to comfort you, to soothe you, to talk you down from recklessness...

Married people can’t build something from scratch if the other doesn’t share in that belief.

It is very unfair that if you express your desire, to your fiancé, that you want to build a life with them only to then find out later that your partner is only after what they can gain from the marriage.

Basically, by being married, your partner now has the financial freedom to do as they please. Just because the two of you discussed your wishes, doesn’t mean they agree. And for them to keep their objections to themselves is wrong.

I've had a close childhood friendship but it didn't last. But my girlfriend right now is so committed so I voted for girlfriend :) But both things are nice. Maybe I'll find another close friend. I'm being more open and social so I'm connecting with more people so the chances are higher now to find a close friend again :)
