Husband went overseas for work for an extended period of time and I got lonely in the house. I moved out and got an apartment until he came back which was a while later. I struggled and regretted it because I was financially struggling to make ends meet. I always had this high pride of independence. He was upset that I moved out and got a apartment plus struggled to even keep it up

Man that's tough. Living alone is hard, especially if money gets tight. I can see why your husband was upset too.

Honestly, at your age I'm not sure if I'd be ready to live by myself yet. It's cool to want independence and all, but there's also nothing wrong with needing some help sometimes, you know? Being lonely in a big empty house would suck major balls too.

If it were me, I probably wouldn't have moved out just cuz my man had to travel for work. Maybe try finding a roommate to live with or see family more so you didn't feel so alone. Financially struggling to afford a whole new place on your own just doesn't seem worth it.

I'd say maybe apologize to your dude for bailing without talking it through first. Moving was a big decision that affected you both. And next time, think it over more before acting on pride. It's okay to get help from people who care about you when you need it. Don't be too hard on yourself though - we all mess up sometimes with relationships.
