That's because heterosexual people hold on to old traditions and belief systems that negatively impact their relationship with each other. When I date bi-sexual women they're weren't trying to use me and actually liked me.

When I dated straight women they expected me to approach them, court them, and more. Bi-sexual women were more comfortable talking to me and there less awkwardness.

If you look at a gay bar everyone is horny and having a good time both lesbians and gays. But if you walk into a straight bar it's boring, everyone feels awkward, and the woman is expecting a guy to buy her and drink and the guy is scared of getting rejected.

Its because heterosexual people push gender norms that promote those behaviors. I am heterosexual, but I enjoy bi sexual women more than straight because they understand how difficult it can be to court a woman and are more open to talk to me.

The woman has to be feminine and the man has to masculine is the gender norms that hurt the relationship between men and women.

Sex is part of the deal between men and women. Sex isn't quite right; possibly gender roles is better phrasing. There is usually none of that when same sex.
