Generally speaking, are people more nicer to the opposite sex than the same sex?

If we're speaking generally because I know it may not be true for some people but to others it can be. Are guys nicer to girls than guys and are girls nicer to girls then guys? do guys act and present themselves differently when they are around girls and do girls behave differently around guys than girls?

Definitely. One time I made a catfish dude account online and all the girls that were assholes to me on my female account were suddenly very sweet and innocent to my male account lol
