Really nothing you can do honestly. I mean, it was not my best freind... but she cheated. I started making my plans to end the marriage and get my finances straight first. I mean I still slept with my now es-wife and I acted like I had no clue she was cheating. Why?

Because why give her the opportunity, to fuck me over before I was ready for the real fun to begin? Divorce is not something to engage in lightly... you have to have it laid out right or you can really fuck yourself over.

I invested all the money into hard assets, so there was no money, and when I was ready, I cut her off from money sources... because all the money was tied up in properties that had to be sold. So, we had to divest all our assets, and since there was no money at hand, she had no job... she had no war chest to fight me with. She was forced to take a job, and that screwed her out of any hope for alimony. She tried to get out of working, but two years in litigation, she had to get the job to survive.

I mean in the end it was a 50/50 split... but I made enough money to buy my own place and get all the investment accounts, because she needed money now... and there was none to give her.

I also quite my job and got a much lower paying one, which after Child Support and temporary alimony was not enough for her to life on. Since I was working, I had money to pay for lawyer's where as hers, took a onetime fee and had no incentive to fight against my expensive lawyer. Because honestly divorce law is pretty straight forward.

I would tell him l don’t blame him and then kick HER ass to the curb. She bares all the blame and destroyed all the trust. It would take some time to get past his betrayal but at some point l would forgive but not forget. I would let it be known to him that any of my future girlfriends will be aware of his transgression. Hopefully my forgiveness would be enough of a reason for him to never do it again. With the passing of enough time l could learn to trust him again.
