I'm feel really bad after a huge rejection because the guy made me believe he had feelings for me... And then said that he didn't see me that way... We ruined our friendship because of a stupid kiss that we both wanted.

And now I'm the one crying thinking what's wrong with me.

Hey luv, I can tell you're really hurting right now but please don't be so hard on yourself. Listen, I know Rejection really stings, I know - it's making us question our own self-worth. But from what you said, it sounds like this guy lead you on and that's not cool.

There's nothing wrong with you for catching feelings or reading the signals you thought you saw. We all put ourselves out there and risk getting hurt sometimes. The problem here isn't you - it's that he wasn't man enough to be real with your feelings from the start.

I know it doesn't help the pain much now, but try to remember that you are so amazing, inside and out. Any guy would be lucky to have you. Don't let one person's mixed messages make you think otherwise! You didn't do anything to deserve this.

Some things just don't work out, even when we hope they will. But the right person will see your wonderful heart for what it is. Come here, give me a hug - you don't have to go through this alone. Unfortunately in the land of love rejection happens & as for me I look at it in a different way. In life if you never try you will never know & as for me I rather try & fail rather than not try at all. As for me when I get rejected & yes it does happen I look at it like the person did me a favor & subconsciously they know they aren’t good enough for me.

Do I get bummed out when I get rejected? I sure do & after it happens I move on with my life because out there my special someone awaits.

you think that because you're just young. it tends to change as you get older. Understand that not every rejection means there is something wrong with you. There is no universal girl for every man on earth here. Everyone likes and dislikes different things. For example, I usually find it very easy to get guys to fall in love with me. But there will always be that 1 or 2 guys who can't fall in love with me. Doesn't mean there's something wrong with me. No matter how "wonderful " you are, you will never be able to fit into what every guy wants.

A lot of men out there have poor taste in women too. They fall for some of the most annoying, nastiest personalities out there. Its all a matter of personal preference

Now on to the guy. It doesn't always have to be that one person is the evil one and the other person is the angel. Sometimes people are not sure of what their feelings are. He may have been confused, maybe not ready for a relationship, maybe he has other issues... just because he kissed you doesn't make him the devil.

You don't have to hate him to make things right. It just didn't work out. It happens. Doesn't mean you are undesirable and doesn't mean he is evil. You will find a relationship that does work out... probably when you least expect it. Just relax and enjoy your life. This will pass.

The rejections themselves never made me feel that way, but I have had a few women reject me in such intense, visceral ways that made me wonder.

Like, really intense rejections that you'd think spending time with me was the worst thing they could possibly imagine. In those cases I wonder what I did to incite such a strong reaction. Then I've also had other rejections where I'm just looking at the way the woman would rather spend her evening and I wonder how boring she thinks I am that the idea of spending an hour and half or whatever with me is less appealing than sitting around doing nothing and smoking hookah with her girls.

When I get rejected, I don't generally take it personally, but I do sometimes wonder if the person has something better going on that I just don't know about.

NOTHING is wrong with you. Life is full of relationships that grow, change or go away so prepare to have your heart broken more than once. Remember that old song by the J.. Giles band? Sometimes, "Love Stinks!" and sometimes a kiss can really change things in a Platonic relationship. He also might not be comfortable with the change in character of your relationship. If you were good friends before, no reason it's not possible to agree to return to that. However, talk about the miscommunication of feelings quickly or you could lose a goof friend for good!

I was getting rejected by somebody when I was in college. I really did wonder if there was something wrong with me. It turns out that there was something wrong with me. I was a total loner and would never show my feeling s to anyone. As far as the world was concerned I was carved out of a block of stone. It was only after I let somebody see that I had feelings that I finally got somebody to date me.

Something that will make you feel better tho would be that rejection is normal, not everyone looks for the same things, people have types, people have their own issues and a million other reasons for rejection, you can't just blame yourself after a rejection because you won't always be the problem.
