Is it also a even bigger red flag if you are in a relationship and she has pictures of herself and the pets you share but none together as a couple

1 yUnfortunately, I think social media addiction has become a universal epidemic. I wouldn’t say it’s a red flag if you asked her motives. Is she trying to be an influencer? Pet-fluencer? Did you tell her it bothers you if she doesn’t have at least one picture of you together? Some people don’t post their relationships for privacy purposes, or to protect their peace bc the internet can be a vicious place. If she’s not entertaining other people it shouldn’t be that bad. If she does things with/bonding with you outside of a camera presence or photo op I don’t think I’d count it as a red flag.

Asker1 ySo she has pictures of our dog, her bunnies, with her family, friends literally everything else but me but I did notice in her notes app is password protected
Ask her why. If you’re asking this question she probably thinks you think social media is dumb like you wouldn’t want to be apart of it. Her notes app is probably password protected because she might have other passwords or sensitive info in there. If your iPhone gets stolen and someone hacks your cloud it can be devastating. It’s all speculative until you ask her why. Just say something like “(Babe) I couldn’t help but notice there’s never any pictures of us on your social media. Can we post something (tomorrow)? I see you post a lot and I’d like to be apart of it.” Something softer not attacking and kind of gauge her response and body language. If she gets tense she might be hiding something but she might be excited and give you an explanation.

1 yNot sure it’s a red flag. (Which is think is a greatly over & misused term).
If she was a model or perhaps celebrity of some kind where SHE is her own product, per se, then no. I wouldn’t care less. Often times female celebrities benefit from male fans believing she is single even if only for the hyper unrealistic scenario that they can somehow attract her attention (even if only in the fantasy of their own mind).
If she was some egocentric and self-obsessed attention addict who is not adding to a business but simply doing so for her own self gratification, and she’s is not in the business of monetizing her image, then yeah - I’d probably be annoyed enough to pass on that relationship.00 Reply
1 yIt's a red flag... She's seeking attention and she's figured out that having a man is affecting the amount of attention she receives. She's not getting this attention for cancer research or getting a picture of a black hole in space... I'm assuming she taking selfies and using her skin for attention like a complete degenerate.
In Minecraft of course.

I find that excessive use of social media is a turn-off, and this applies to both genders. Having interests rather than spending your entire day looking through social media is always a wise move. If you don't have a business to market, there's no incentive to be on it constantly.

@Monalisa77 Although I sympathize with your health problems, there are always other things to do, like pick up painting or writing or curl up with a good book. I honestly believe that using social media excessively is unhealthy.

I do loads of things doesn't mean social media use is an issue, granted if i got a boyfriend or a better social life i probably wouldn't use it as much

She's entertaining other dudes, sorry bro.
532 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Personally, I do think so. Social media is a cancer that has completely overtaken millions of people (especially women but I know plenty of men too) to the point that it is their life. It should be treated similarly to someone who drinks in regards to how much you're willing to put up with.
Regarding pictures... That's not a good look for sure, but in fairness, I stopped posting any pictures of my life online a decade ago, and any "together" pictures are kept between us.

1 yIt's a massive red flag. If she has pictures of herself but none of you together she is advertising herself as single and should be considered recreational use only. I don't let my wife have social media because it can only be a liability and a path to infidelity. Women who are addicted to the attention and validation from social media are for the streets.

1 yDo the same, don't claim her. If she isn't claiming you on socials, most likely you are just a placeholder and she is still holding out for someone better.

Asker1 yYeah she never paid attention
Asker1 yWhen I happen to be on Instagram one day I noticed she literally had pictures of everything except for us our dog her bunnies, with family, favorite songs or places
If she's older than 22, yeah it is lol.. if she posts anything but you together, it can be a red flag... but it also can be for whatever reason.. many people don't like posting their S. O or any couple pictures at all..

You'd be lucky to find one, that is not addicted to it.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yIt is a bit of a red flag. I wouldn't concern myself as much with how much she's posting on social media than WHAT she is posting on social media. What she is posting will give you a definite insight into what kind of a person she is.

00 Reply Yes. Any addiction is not good. It becomes their prison and it doesn't even make that much sense contrary to what they think.
00 ReplySO even the boys. I am sure boys are more addicted but yes, to find their girl and related to them
00 ReplyI don't think that is a good thing.
