he always tells me he wants to look in my eyes and he can’t wait to meet me (in a week we are meeting). he is very controlling but i’m very submissive so it works out.

Hmm that does seem kinda intense to say that so early on dude. I'd maybe be a little wary of someone who seems so possessive right away, ya know? Like, he doesn't even really know you yet if it was just the first day talkin.

Saying you're his wife already is a big commitment. I could see how his controlling behavior would go along with that too. Wanting to look in your eyes all the time and meet super fast also gives kinda clingy vibes.

Not sayin the guy can't be in love, but it's a red flag when someone moves that fast emotionally before really getting to know the real you. Like, is he more in love with the idea of having a wife to control maybe?

I'd just be real careful makin big promises like marriage so quick. Make sure you take time to see how he acts when things aren't perfect or going his way too. Easy to be all lovey online, but real life is different.
