It was hurtful. It was depressing. My first serious love. And she left me. Just answering since you asked. Else I don't have any resentment towards her anymore.
There's a twist though lol. After a long while I became friends with her again. She kinda had no one else left to listen to her. And then I ghosted her. 🤭

1st it was my girlfriend from a LDR, we split up and never heard from her again and 2nd it was my ex wife, we divorced and haven't seen her for years...

At 1st it was very hard but after years, you just have to move on unless you want to destroy yourself for people who left without a blink of an eye and they even forgot that you even exist!

Yes I did and along with herself she took everything and tried to take my sanity, how did it work out, for me, if you were completely broke, no where to go no one to turn to, unable to walk and in excruciating pain and no meds what would you do completely on your own

Not run out exactly. I had a girlfriend who dumped me out of the blue. We shared a friend circle so she couldn't exactly disappear.
