How do you know you have found the love of your life?

Your life you never know, weird things happen that can screw a couple over beyond your control. But my last relationship was very much like this, the way I knew for certain she was the one was because we were each others perfect fit. I loved everything about her and the things I didn't I could live with. She loved everything about me and the things she didn't she could live with.

I once made a silly bucket list in my mind where I imagined the perfect girl and what that girl would be like. Basically my 10/10, and to me it would have been an amazing girlfriend if she ended up being an 8/10 compared to that unrealistic standard. This girl was not only a 10/10 she added a few more things to the bucket list.

So in all normal circumstances we'd still have been together and she would have been the love of my life. But it was also a long distance relationship and things we had no direct control over made it impossible to stay together so I had to let her go.

That means either somehow she is indeed the one and fate brings us back together some day, or she hopefully isn't the love of my life because that would be sad otherwise. I'm just hoping ill ever be together again with someone I can love that much, but this time have it actually last the rest of our lives.

I wish that was up to me haha, doing my best to do my part though. If you are referring to her coming back its up to her, she is the one that needed to leave. I am open to it just as much as anyone else I am that compatible with, but once I am taken I am taken. Fate could do me a favor though and just get me in contact with whoever it ends up being.

There is some stuff holding back my full potential I am working on, restricting my chances of meeting someone quite a bit. So those I do work on, because if fate is destined chance, working on those things is going to increase the chances needed to make it happen.
