I wish I was as strong as you are when it comes to letting go of people you once cared about and maybe loved. It would have saved me from even more hurt.

Has nothing to do with strength as much as respect for yourself.

If they are choosing to hurt you, they do not care and do not respect you or the relationship.

At that point it isn't about letting go, it is about cleaning house to heal the wound.

Yes, every woman that I discovered cheating on me. I always wondered if they thought so little of me that the fact it would hurt me never crossed their minds or they did it to purposefully hurt me. Those are the only two options when they say, "I didn't mean to hurt you."

You are exactly right. When they are cheating and or lying they'll say that. When in reality that knew what they were doing was going to hurt you, or maybe they didn't even take our feelings into consideration.

Yes, a girl I really loved dumped me in a very cruel way. I ran into her at a party a few months later and she came over to me and told me that she never meant to hurt me. Then she went to hug me so i just put up my arm and said to her "No."
