Do you love your partner who you are currently with?

I mean most of you will say yes, but I met someone today when I was having coffee, I remembered seeing her a few times, we smiled and then she came and said hi, I invited her to sit and we started talking, while we were talking she told me that the relationship she is in, she loved him earlier but now she is just trying to work things out so that the relationship can continue.
I was not sure what to say so I just asked are you happy like this and she said I don't know, maybe if I was with someone else I would be happier, she said with a smile, poor girl maybe trying to hide the pain.
So long story short do you love your partner or are trying to work it out too?
And is it ok to keep trying if you are not happy?
