No. Even though I can afford it I don't recommend it to anyone. All of the young people I talk to who say they are in a long distance relationship don't have a pot to piss in to actually visit them or vice versa on a regular basis. Most do this so they don't have to take on the responsibility of an actual relationship. Most are living across the damn globe where it's impossible to go see them. My advice don't do this. Find someone you can actually see in person on a weekly basis.

So long as there is the necessary emotional content in it. If it is went to work, grabbed dinner on the way home, will watch the TV after we finish and go to bed then No.

I'm doing that right now, we haven't seen eachother for over a year now which is a bit hard but I know that he's definitely very committed so I'm not worried about it. We still talk every night. 😊

I'm in one now and while it's not the greatest in terms of distance it's certainly not bad either. We get to see each other once a month, sometimes twice a month even. So it's not too bad.
