and those are the best relationships when that happens. too many people might say well I love you I love you and blah blah blah those are just words but when you can help that person succeed in doing whatever it is they want to do when you can say the right words to let them see something in a different light those people become best friends those people become best lovers those people become the best man and wife.

this is who we are all supposed to be in life this is our destiny one of our destinies is to do that with and for everybody to make everybody become the best that they possibly can become this is what life's all about and when helping people do this you help yourself grow too it's always a win-win situation and some beautiful thing

Absolutely. It's very much the case with my wife and me. We help, encourage, inspire and support each other to pursue our interests, try new things, and sometimes achieve more than we thought possible.
We also talk about things, learn and gain insight from each other, and seek advice.

As long as one group doesn't want to hold the other down. As long as both groups are willing to share the power, to be equals and there isn't supremacy involved. We can absolutely empower each other as long as people accept equality and we are all in this together. It's going that way, we'll get there.

Some will fight it obviously but it's not gonna stop it. Only a bitter, hateful minority are trying to fight it.

It's a foregone conclusion nothing will stop it. It's definitely getting better and the endgame is we will be a better society for it.

    United, equal, without hate.

Of course if you've ever looked at many of the great men throughout history you'll notice something they all had a great women by their side pushing and driving them forward, supporting them.

Men and women were created and designed to want and need each other because we're better when we're together then we are when we're apart we're supposed to empower and strengthen each other. Not hurt and be mean, disrespectful and all the other crap like what's going on now a days.

That's actually a very good question and Yes, actually a woman motivates men and men motivate women in their own ways, I believe that is indeed a way to empower.

I think it's fairly simple to make the opposite sex feel like they have the ability to positively impact the world around them. It's very beneficial to a relationship when you know that your partner is supportive of your goals and ideals.

Yes men have empowered women throughout history.. they were oppressed by men but men played a great role in destroying the oppression and giving them equal rights too

But the other way around, not so much

Every human being has the ability (and, I believe, the responsibility) to empower those around them. [There are some exceptions - like don't empower evil people - but it's a general rule I believe in.]

If I am not empowering those around me, then I am holding them down by withholding my support. Kinda effed up. if you ask me.

I would say yes but only if they know how to do it because one can do it wrong in my view when they try to encourage them to things guys or women don´t consider empowering.

In a healthy relationship that’s what is supposed to happen. But politics and feminism is continuing to drive a wedge between men and women.

These days? No. Women won’t allow a man to be/feel empowered in todays society. It’s considered “oppressive” if a man feels any type of empowerment. Yet it’s ok for women to act/be/feel superior

We many men (not all, obviously) have been working to empower women for a long time. I don't see a lot of the opposite yet.

I believe so, but i do not empower a woman to become like a man or to even think that she can be a man.

Yes, in Eastern and Latin culture, because those cultures are collectivistic in nature and don't look at self destruction and ripping everyone off as values to be proud of.

I don't think women are capable of empowering men at all. Most of what they're capable of is taking advantage of men.

"Empowering" is one of those words that tends to signal everything you're about to hear is complete, unadulterated bullshit.
