I show it through acts of service the most for sure. Wbu?
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI’ll do anything and everything for those I love and care about. I’m not very affectionate, so you’re not gonna get hugs from me for no reason, I won’t be the one to say, “I love you” every morning and at night but if you’re hurting, I will kiss your tears away and hold you so tight, your head might pop off. My actions do speak louder than words.

+1 yQuality Time, Physical Touch, Words of Affirmation, Gifts, Acts of Service
In this order, I am usually the one they do things for, I am very bad at acts of service… :(
Now if he is sick and needs me, I’d be there for him and help him out with every little thing but other than that, I am not good at acts of service.
In my previous, relationship I was served breakfasts in bed…
He did everything for me and I admired it. He also showed his love through mainly through Acts of Service.

My Main Love Language is probably the Physical Touch and Quality Time.

And sex for me is the highest form of how I show love. That’s why I am so slow to have sex, because for me sex means I love him.
558 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Tbh for me it's probably acts of service because it's first thing I'll deliberately avoid doing if I don't like someone. Next is probably quality time & then it's words of affirmation.

+1 yMy love language is physical touch so I tend to express love and affection mostly through touch. I also feel most loved through touch, like when my wife gives me a hug and kiss.
Sex is the highest expression of love for me. The way I look at it, it's like kissing or cuddling on steroids. It's the ultimate expression of love and affection and something I now reserve only for my wife who I love the most.
Acts of service is likely second. I feel loved very much when my wife goes out of her way to do something small like pack a box of sandwiches for me before she heads out. I do similar for her like I'll surprise her and make dinner for her sometimes. Also when we're sick, we nurse each other back to health and express love that way.
Actually it's no different with animals for me. if I love a pet animal a lot, I'll want to cuddle it and pet it and hold it a lot above all else as my ultimate love language is physical touch. As a close second though, I'll express my love by researching the healthiest food for the animal, get that, make sure they have plenty of toys to play with, and an environment in the home that's well-suited for their happiness. If it's a dog, I'll take him/her on walks all the time.
The tests I've taken never ranked my love languages and always just gave me physical touch as my love language, but I suspect mine ranked in order from top to bottom would be:
1. Physical Touch
2. Acts of Service
3. Quality Time
4. Words of Affirmation/GiftsI really don't find much love in words of affirmation or gifts. I'm kind of bad about that part with people who like to receive lots of praises and gifts; I don't tend to give them all that often and I don't respond very emotionally to receiving them either.

I do like to draw people similar to @strawberrypancake as an expression of love and affection. Maybe my allergy to words of affirmation is that words just aren't a medium in which I find it easy to express my emotions. So many sayings seem cliche to me with tired phrases, so for words to have a strong impact for me, they have to be very original and very observant.
Example of a sketch I made in a bar of one of my close friends (she's actually the one who introduced me to my wife at a picnic). She was always a little bit insecure about her big nose but I always thought it made her very pretty combined with her big eyes. She looks almost like a Disney character to me so I tried to capture that quality in this quick sketch.![How do you express love to others?]()
I find it easier to just sketch what I find interesting and endearing about people this way instead of giving them words of encouragement. With words, I often feel as though I'm being very unoriginal and just saying the same tired words and phrases spoken by so many other people. - +1 y
Another one of one of my close friends in a bar. He always orders "Zimax" (Zima + Spyritasu shot) and always looks cool with his cigarette and Zima but also kind of silly sometimes.
![How do you express love to others?]()
Maybe there's a missing love language for those of us who like to draw like "Drawings of Affirmation". 😂 I much prefer them to "Words of Affirmation".
I also like to write music sometimes, so I write little songs for my friends and wife to try to capture their character in music as "Music of Affirmation". - +1 y
It might be almost tied for me between the two both in terms of giving and receiving.
I always had a strong disconnect with words of affirmation. My mother used to love shopping for Hallmark cards, for example, and I remember finding it so strange that she would shop around for these cards with words written by other people to try to express how she feels.![How do you express love to others?]()
Nothing against it but I just feel absolutely nothing towards it. My favorite gifts to both give and receive is more like a home-cooked meal.
+1 yBeing consistent/available and having attention to detail. In life many guys and girls will say flowery words or make an over the top gesture and that's good here and there. My approach is through consistency and reinforcement.
If I am showing genuine interest day in day out in your life, problems, family etc over and over I think it shows love. Remembering things and following up on them etc. To do this over and over and then when the physical touch, grand gestures or flowery words come in it shows a sincerity or validity to it. I've fallen into the trap of just doing one thing or just saying things but not actually being there when I was a kid and it was shallow of me.
This goes for both friendships (not the flowery words...) and romantic relationships.

+1 yI try to show it in the way best received by others. My primary love language are physical touch followed by quality time, words of affirmation and Acts of service are right next to each other too. I scored a 0 in gifts, but I've learned to give thoughtful meaningful gifts to those whose live language is gifts, do things for people who feel cherished by acts of service, encourage and your those with words of affirmation, spend deep meaningful time with those who cherish quality time and give damn good hugs for those whose live language is physical touch

+1 yAlways trying to be available for them if they need me. I don’t drink, so I always drive if we go out but I tell them they can call me anytime for a ride. With people I’m involved with, I do things they enjoy doing, even if I don’t enjoy it. 😂 I hate Country music but my boyfriend likes it, so I’ll play it but now, we’re to that point in our relationship where I show my love by showering him with hugs and kisses!🥰

@Beckybooboo a wonderful true lady miss becky, i wish you the best and i hope that you're man treats you the same because he won't find a lady like you everyday and everywhere 😌
I express it through acts of service, caring for them, being there by their side and ensuring their needs are met.
Making them smile and reminding them they are loved and cared for during their tough times.
That's all I can think of. Some backstage ideas as well 😉14 ReplyWords of affirmation.. quality time... physical touch all together. Being there for support whenever. Remembering the small things. Accepting them for for who they are... surprise gifts that have meaning. So many ways I like to express love

+1 yIf it's not romantic love, then I like being generous, hugs, handshakes or kind words with family. If it's food or drink, or things I love, I whisper words of flattery. And finally, if it was romantic love (lol I'm single) all of the above plus smooching, touching, kissing, squeezing, rubbing, smacking (not the face) 👿 foreplay and sexual intercourse with condoms birth control potentially lube on stand by for the outer condom. Lol. Anyways.

Here’s a pretty recent test result.
I imagine it would change a bit after finally having an actual partner, though. Getting more comfortable with physical touch, hopefully feeling less tired for quality time, and eventually having some actual money to spend on her. I just want to care for my SO every way I can when I finally find her.

honestly it depends. like for example, my boyfriend? i do every kind of love for him. with friends or family, i often observe them and sometimes straight up ask what would they want for me to do. such as a hug, give them space, help them out, stuff like that. but i never do it half assed, y'know?
00 ReplyActs of service. Such as telling them how much I like their clean pink butthole with the weird little lines but respect that they don’t want me touching it even though it’s a waste in my opinion…
