People break-up even a couple days after saying those words, con-artists use that to scam romance victims, others say that out of pressure, etc. It has turned into a polluted ocean full of dying marine lives.

Long ago, it was like a beautiful, clean ocean. That word was referred for either your family or the person you're going to have a family and grow old with. Nowadays it's like everyone says that like no tomorrow. Has ''I love you'' lost its meaning?

Yes, in my opinion and experience it's a farce now. Ofcourse we're talking about something related to human behaviour so there are gonna be exceptions. However, it has lost it's essence now.
The meaning of it now is similar to that of 'I like you.' I see people saying it just as an expression of saying something sweet to their partners.
Expressing love now is more shown by acts of service than by saying the "three magical words" lol.

Absolutely. It means nothing. In high school there was a girl I was once with who as soon as we started seeing each other, she told me she loved me. Yet our relationship was nothing but a glorified friendship. For those who believe that sex and love are one in the same, if love lost it's meaning and all there is is sex is sex even worth it?

I definitely think it's lost it's true meaning. I hear girls in school say this boy or that boy is so cute and then they say that they love them? Just because you think someone is cute does not mean you love them.

I suppose it depends on context. I literally had this discussion with my fiance. She stated she loves to hear it and loves to say it.
I remember a buddy that said it so much his girlfriend got sick of it and broke up with him.
