I hear stories of a girl having sex on first date and now she’s married has baby.

I met guy on a dating app and he was very respectful , polite, we talked on the phone, he would say I wish I can be with you ( as I had said I was at a family party) , we talked about our job, got to know each other in text all day, planned to meet at a coffee shop he really likes go to then have nice view of the mountains ,

we even talked about what we were looking for. I made it clear I don’t want hookup or fling , I wanted a relationship. And he agree and even ask if I was open to soemthing long term. His bio had said looking for short term or long term relationship.
he would ask what I wanted, what do I want to do, what do I like?

he cared about what I wanted which caught my attention.
so I’m confused as he acted like a good boyfriend and gone?

if I had agreed to hookup then would he grow feelings and of been my boyfriend?

It's RARE. Yes, it occasionally happens, but statistically, it's FAR more likely to cause the guy to disqualify the girl from being "relationship material" - meaning, he might have considered a relationship with her before, but since she was willing to just hook up with him, she's no longer "relationship material" in his eyes. He might continue to hook up with her, but he won't take her seriously as a relationship partner.

Just an aside, lots of women always seem to be pointing out the rare exceptions to things, while trying to deny the fact that these exceptions are rare, and the RULE is FAR more likely to apply to her (and to everyone). Hooks ups can turn into relationships, but not always. My wife and I originally were just friends, but we hooked up. We were both adults who needed our sexual needs met. Eventually we fell in love.

Not all guys are like this. Maybe your guys isn’t either, I’m only speculating.

Most guys respect boundaries, and try not to lead girls on. The problem with dating apps is that many of them are filled with horny men who’s judgement is clouded.

Well I am sure every woman who is attractive physically, personality, and such has men chasing them right? So given this.. it’s more common guys wanna sleep with them.. speaking from experience and girls who tend to go through this.. yes, it’s very common. The important thing is just finding someone who has aligned intentions as you :) typically I appreciate a guy who’s honest he’s not looking for a relationship /dating > fooling me to mislead me to get into my pants. I don’t wanna frown on people having different intent because everyone looks for something different. But honesty is important. Continue to stay firm on what you’re looking for. Someone who wants the same thing will be happy and appreciate it too :)

Just be careful who you invest your time and emotions in. I think it’s all about who we select. It definitely sucks not a lot of people is looking for something serious, but it doesn’t mean there aren’t people who is. And this guy you’re sharing about, it’s cool, it means it wasn’t a loss for you lolz. But I don’t wanna say that because you found him physically unattractive he wasn’t worthy… since finding a partner has many aspects to considered that you still found him worth a shot initially, right? It just sucks because there’s just a lot, a lot, a lot of fuck boys.. 🙄 and no you ain’t the odd one out. You just haven’t found your person. I feel the same way since most people around me is like married or in long-term relationships, but I rather be single than be stuck with the wrong person and I’m just not really tryna date and focuses on my priorities unless someone really catches my attention lol.
