So my husband is hanging out with our friends and didn't invite me. I work near a couple of friends and his friend group and they all got drinks after work. We live about 40- 45 min away from the area. I'd driven home and his friend had sent me a snap of the 3 of them. I silenced my phone to do hw and a little later I'd missed calls from my friend and husband. They were telling me to come hang out. I was still doing hw and didn't feel like driving another 40 min when I'd been in that area earlier today. I feel annoyed to not be included initially. Was I being too dramatic in not going?

I would say so, I mean if they keep hanging out without you then I would say that it's reasonable to be offended.

But I think if they do it once or twice, it's not that they are trying to exclude you or don't want to hang out with you. Sometimes people just like to hang out in different groups and see each other on their own.
