I don't know. He was trying to move on so he took a step forward in attempting that and he eventually really forgot about Laura. Myra was his soulmate in my opinion. But once Laura showed interest in return then he reverted back. I’ve been there. I got with this guy in an attempt to get over someone. And i was truly interested in the new guy. Dated 4 months but the then the guy started showing interest in return. As bad as it was, i let the guy know that I apparently wasn't fully over the guy before him and wanted to see if that went anywhere. I know he was pissed and prob felt like i wasted his time. But he remained respectful and wished me well. The guy i regrettably left him for dropped me after a month for another rgirl… karma i guess
