Definitely appreciation and more. Gift giving can be one of them to show how much you love them, but it's not always the case. Love is not just about sex. It's loyalty, respect, affectionate, just being present in your life, spending quality time together whether you both go out or stay home, being there for each other no matter what, having date days/nights to keep the relationship/marriage alive, helping each other out, understanding each other, having healthy communication and more. That's what I think the meaning of love is. I could say more, but that's all I'm gonna say right now.
