For example, I don't know whether I could have a long-term relationship with a girl who loved warm temperatures, because there would be a perpetual battle over the thermostat, with one or both of us having to suffer no matter how we try to compromise. If love is strong enough, though, it will fight through obstacles that come between a pair of soulmates as each person seeks to become better for the other.
