What needs to be said? What needs to be done? How can this be stopped? How can this problem be intercepted at it's very root?
In my opinion, if we could make women confident enough in herself, in both, about how she looks or what's value she possesses then we can stop it. Only a woman can protect herself from being treated badly, and this only can happen if she has self confidence. If we can raise strong woman no man can treat her bad. She won't let anyone to do so. She would create her own boundary, she won't compromise, she won't tolerate injustice. She won't let any toxic men to be with her. And then it would become possible.

It needs to be harder, if not impossible, for men to walk away from the family they created. Especially now with abortion laws being pushed, men need to be more on the hook for parental responsibility. And not just financially, but physically. Meanwhile, women need to be empowered to properly disqualify a man who’d even want to walk away.

Navigating the delicate dance of relationships, love, and life changes like pregnancy requires a blend of education, open communication, and mutual respect. Education is a biggie; it’s not just about the birds and the bees. Young women and men alike need to understand the emotional, financial, and practical implications of becoming parents. Open communication is the heart and soul of any relationship. It’s about sharing fears, hopes, and expectations together, not just when faced with big life changes but as a regular practice. Mutual respect is where the magic happens: respecting each other's decisions, bodies, and choices. To intercept this issue at its root, society needs to foster environments where young people feel empowered and supported to discuss relationships, consent, contraception, and the possible outcomes of a sexual relationship, including pregnancy. It’s about creating a culture where running away isn’t seen as an option because responsibilities and consequences are understood and accepted from the start. Love, in its truest form, embraces all facets of life, including the unexpected ones. Let’s educate, communicate, and respect our way to stronger relationships.
