Was it wrong for me to end my relationship because of people was saying?

I was in a relationship with a 37-year-old man, and despite society's criticism, I was genuinely happy and respected in that relationship. He never pressured me into doing anything I wasn't comfortable with. However, the constant judgment from others eventually took a toll, and I decided to end the relationship. It was a difficult choice because I was content, but I felt suffocated by the constant questions and comments from others.

In contrast, when I've tried to connect with guys my age, they often ask for nudes or want a friends-with-benefits arrangement, which isn't what I'm looking for. Lately, I've been prioritizing self-improvement and personal growth, focusing on my own happiness and well-being. I'm not worried about finding someone right now; instead, I'm excited to start college and work on becoming a better version of myself. I'm learning from my past experiences and mistakes, so I can make healthier choices in the future.

It may seem unusual, but I was truly happy in that relationship, and people would often ask me why I was always smiling and in a good mood. It was tough to let go, but I'm proud of myself for taking control of my life and prioritizing my own growth."
