I just made 5 months with him until a few days ago. There’s one thing in our relationship that I did not get. He does this thing where he won’t talk to me for 2-3 days and returns like nothing or make it my fault. A while ago he complained that I do not initiate contact enough. He complained that he always has to call me and text but no matter what I ALWAYS answered for him.
So I started calling and texting first but I was constantly getting sent straight to voicemail and texts being forever to replied to. Around the the beginning of December he ignored me for three days straight and only texted me once. When he came back I asked him why hasn’t he been responding and he said something like “we did talk, I texted you Goodmorning Tuesday” which would be the last text and the current day would be like Thursday.
At one point he would call me once a day and only let the phone ring once or twice. So when we finally did talk he said he tried to call me but I never “answer.” One time I answered on time and he hung up immediately.
Around December 20th, he did it again for three days and told me he had a family emergency. So I ignored it that time. Then January 1st he ignored me until yesterday night and blamed me for us not talking even though I was last text. I think he knows he’s wrong because when he returns, before I can even speak, he will talk about something so random then mention why haven’t I been contacting to him. Which is what he did yesterday night. He said he texted me first the day before (which he did but he stopped texting me after two texts) and that I should’ve texted him first yesterday. I ended the relationship last night and he asked was I really serious. His number is blocked but I feel terrible. Am I in the wrong?
